Equestria LA is pleased to announce the Anaheim Marriott as our official hotel and function space provider for 2013!

The Anaheim Marriott is centrally located in the heart of Orange County and the Anaheim resort district. The renewed Anaheim includes the original Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, Downtown Disney and the GardenWalk.  Located within walking distance from the Anaheim Marriott there is an amazing assortment of restaurants, entertainment and shopping set within beautiful outdoor space.  The Anaheim resort transit makes a continuous loop from the front of the hotel to most Anaheim resort destinations.

Equestria LA attendees booking under our exclusive group code pay just $115 a night for a guest room.  A limited number of Luxury and Executive Suites are available for just $325 a night, please e-mail hotel@equestriala.com if you’re interested in a suite!  Rates valid 3 days before/after the convention based on hotel’s availability.  Hotel room rates are subject to applicable State and Local Fees and Taxes.

Why stay at the hotel?

Throwing a party for over a thousand of your closest friends is a lot of fun, but it can get very expensive!  One of the easiest ways we can keep our costs down is by using the hotel’s function space as well as their guest rooms.  In addition to getting a discounted room rate and a number of exclusive perks for making your reservation with Equestria LA’s group code, we also get more function space for free based on how many rooms we sell for the hotel.  That’s right, the more rooms we sell, the more space we get to throw an even bigger and better Equestria LA for everypony!  Not to mention, staying so close to the action keeps you connected with your fellow fans, and gives you a place to relax, change costumes, or stash that swag you just scored in the vendor hall.

The best part is that since we’re able to keep our costs down by getting our space for free, we can afford to charge less for memberships, which is why pre-registration starts off 25% LESS than 2012′s rate even though we added a whole extra day to the show!  So please book a room with the hotel using our group code or reservation link so we can come back and do it all again next year!

The Anaheim Marriott is centrally located to multiple major airports, and although the hotel does not operate a shuttle service, average prices for alternate transportation are provided for your convenience.

• John Wayne Airport (SNA) – 15 Miles – $10 one-way
• Long Beach Airport (LGB) – 20 Miles – $35 one-way
• Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – 35 Miles – $16 one-way

How much is parking?

Guests staying at the Anaheim Marriott for the day will receive reduced-rate overnight parking of $18/day ($24 value).  Guests driving in for the day can pay a $10 daily rate for up to 8 hours.

Can I get internet access in my room?

High speed internet access is available to Equestria LA attendees for $5 per day ($12.95 value).

How will I know if I get one or two beds?

When reserving your room via the hotel link, you will not be able to specify your room type preference.  The hotel will do their best to accommodate your preference at the time of check-in.  In anticipation of many attendees wanting to share a room with their best friend(s), we are working with the hotel to ensure that most of our room “stock” is of the two bed variety.

I have medicine/drinks/leftovers, can I get a refrigerator?

Every room in the hotel comes equipped with a mini fridge, you’re covered!

Can I request a non-smoking room?

Where can I get a bite to eat?

In addition to the many nearby restaurants in the Anaheim resort area, there are a number of options conveniently on site!  The Cafe Del Sol located just downstairs in the hotel lobby is a full service restaurant offering fresh California cuisine and other family-friendly dishes in a casual atmosphere.

There’s a Pizza Hut along the way to our convention space, but even if they’re closed you can always order their full menu 24 hours a day via in-room dining.  And of course there is a Starbucks right before you enter the convention, serving a variety of pastries, light fare and specialty coffees throughout the day.
